Therapeutic (adaptive) Riding Therapeutic horseback riding lessons are conducted under the direction of a PATH International Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor (CTRI). Riding skills are taught using individualized adaptive methods and often incorporate areas of problem solving skills, social interactions and working as a team member in a 1:1 or 1:2 format. During a typical one hour lesson, the rider learns basic skills including: horse safety, interpreting horse body language, grooming, leading, managing riding equipment (tack) and riding skills. The most important goal of all lessons is that it is a safe and fun experience. $60/hour lesson |
